Riga Islande Hotel with FREE Parking

The hotel left a very good impression. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Free parking was a big plus – perfect for those traveling by car. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always doing their best to assist. Breakfast was rich and tasty – maybe nothing extraordinary, but everything was fresh and enjoyable. Empty dishes were refilled quickly and tables were cleaned immediately. Walking to the Old Town took about 15 minutes (just cross the bridge and you're there). There’s no need for a car or taxi – unless it’s raining. There’s a big supermarket right next to the hotel, and a large shopping center about 4 km away in the direction of Jurmala. The bed was comfortable, and the room had air conditioning. You could also open the window for fresh air, which was nice. The room design may feel a bit outdated, but the cleanliness made up for it. Highly recommended!

The room we were staying at was on the 8th floor, and the view we had was stunning (the bridge and the Old Town lying further). Also, there is a lovely shopping centre nearby with a grocery shop, a pharmacy and a nice food court with lots of food to choose from. Breakfast at the hotel was simply amazing! The choice and freshness of everything was outstanding, and the waiters were very meticulous. The staff were friendly, and we got our lunch boxes sorted for the departure day. There also appeared to be a taxi linked to the hotel - truth be told, it should cost more as the service is amazing, the car was large and comfortable, and the driver brought us from the airport to the hotel and back quickly and safely.

The hotel is located right across the river on the other side of the bridge, opposite the Old Town. We arrived at the hotel by car and there was plenty of space to park. Parking, almost in the city center, is free. Check-in at the hotel was quick and smooth. We got a room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a great view. The room was large and very well equipped. Despite the fact that there were a lot of people in the hotel at the time, the environment was pleasantly quiet. The climate in the room was also pleasant, because the air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable and we slept like babies all night. The breakfast was ok, but a wider choice would have raised the level. All in all, a good hotel if you want to visit the Old Town of Riga.

One of the hotels most visited by groups of travellers. Big rooms with all amenities available, good breakfast with plenty of choices. Reception was quick and helpful even if the hotel was crowded. At a walking distance from the city center. There is a shopping center right near the hotel. Has a restaurant with a view at the last floor. very good value for money.
